Back from the tour of the plant that will be making the custom upholstery for my boutique. First and foremost, I was impressed by the cleanliness, organization of the factory PLUS the pure hard work with such attention to detail by the employees.
Check out the pictures from my visit.
The cutting tables, where the fabric is laid out and the perfect pattern matching begins.
Eight way, hand tied…don’t let anyone fool you this is, by far, the best seating available.
The European Beech Wood frames are imported from Spain and Italy. The factory maintains good stock, which is why I can have a custom sofa in my client’s home in about 5 weeks. Notice how clean the floors are, how many factories have you seen this immaculate?
Frames have been prepared, cushions are cut and fitted, and the sewing is in progress.
The seamstresses hard at work.
Inside upholstery.
Outside upholstery
There’s that 8 way, hand tied seat again.
The upholstery department humming along.
Loved this detail, with a tight back sofa such as this, the back cushions are two separate cushions, not one cushion with a welt down the center as you’d see in many other manufacturer’s furniture.
You’ll be able to see and sit in samples at the INSTINCTIVE INTERIORS at home boutique in about 5 weeks. I’m so excited to be able to offer my clients such beautiful pieces of furniture.
Wow, very impressive,Sandra!
